A Lucky Person?

Something that really annoys me is when someone calls me a lucky persons or anyone a lucky person for that matter, for instance I was having a chat with my mum the other day and she was saying how she thinks I’m a lucky person for the fact I managed to get a job as an engineer in the town where I lived at a very young age and the thing that annoys me about that is the fact before that I was looking for a job for a long time but the job actually came by a school trip and yes you can say that it was chance I was took there by at trip however I was the only one to ask the boss there for his email, that wasn’t luck that was me getting on with it and putting the effort in so that is my introduction to this theory i’m sharing about how there is no such thing as a “lucky person”.

Definitionally luck means “Success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one’s own actions.”, however is their such a concept called “luck”?

Consequently, accusing somebody of being lucky is completely ignorant as mathematical chance cant always be responsible for being lucky or unlucky for example “William Post III won $16.2 million”, the majority of people would say he is a lucky person however. “Just three months after winning the Pennsylvania lottery in 1988, Post experienced crime, bankruptcy and poor spending decisions, such as the purchase of a restaurant and an airplane. Post was $500,000 in debt and filed for bankruptcy in the early 1990s, according to Bankrate.” extract from https://www.benzinga.com/media/18/10/12558948/out-of-luck-lottery-winners-who-have-gone-bankrupt.

Now if William Post III is a lucky person then how could he have been $500,000 in debt, agreed you could say he is unlucky however the definition of luck means either success or failure is brought by chance when he clearly brought it upon himself by purchasing unnecessary items like a restaurant or an aeroplane he had both success and failure so that does not make him a lucky or unlucky person. Expanding further you can’t be a lucky and unlucky person it just cancels the word lucky out as a whole.

To come to my conclusion there is no such thing as a lucky or unlucky person we all are in control of our own life and do things for ourselves and then there is the debate about free will and destiny which I will do a blog on, however eliminating the idea of being a lucky person the only options left for being so good with slim chances are destiny, law of attraction – free will or divine intervention to make people do great thing like win the lottery what do you think?
